Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR)

Back To Education Home

The CCSR course has been carefully designed to fully comply with Department of Insurance rules requiring 4-40 pre-licensing designation courses to be 40 hours in length. It's the perfect course for the person who isn't licensed yet and has little or no insurance knowledge. It also serves as a great refresher for those who have "forgotten a lot of what they once knew!"

Over a five-day period (three days one week, and two days the next week) attendees will come away with a broad knowledge of almost all aspects of insurance, including but not limited to:

Personal Auto
Business Auto
Garage
Homeowners
Dwelling
Flood
Commercial Property
General Liability
Workers Compensation
Bonds
Inland Marine
Florida Insurance Laws
Errors & Omissions
Agency Procedures
Customer Service Excellence

...and more!

Upon successful completion of a test at the end of the course, attendees are awarded the CCSR designation and can then obtain the Florida Department of Financial Services Customer Representative (4-40) license without having to take the State test. Since this course is used largely for pre-licensing purposes, there is no CE associated.
