2010 Planning Session Brochure

2010 Planning Session

As we close out FAIA's 106th year, we must begin planning for the years ahead. FAIA's Planning Session helps lay the groundwork for the specific plans and projects to be accomplished by FAIA members and staff during the upcoming fiscal year, which starts September 1. The foundation for next year—and the years that follow—is built properly only with direct input from member agents like you who attend Planning Session and give us your valuable insights, suggestions, and opinions.

FAIA's 2010 Planning Session implements the vision of FAIA's Board of Directors by modernizing the Planning Session to better utilize specific volunteer talent and make more efficient use of your time. To make your attendance even more valuable to you as an attendee, we will offer a breakout session on Thursday afternoon for continuing education credits. As you can see, we've created a unique package of serious meetings and fun activities for the whole family at your ticket to paradise, the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach.

Take advantage of the very reasonable FAIA registration fees, the discounted room rates, and this luxury oceanfront resort to enjoy a long, luxurious, relaxing weekend with FAIA and your family!

Welcome to Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach
On an expanse of quiet beach, you will find an intimate and acclaimed resort where kids can be kids and grown-ups can restore in the glamorous spa or dine overlooking the ocean. Let our award-winning chefs prepare your deep-sea catch. Refresh with chilled towels by the pool, enjoy golf at Atlantis, or browse the shops on nearby Worth Avenue.
"If the name alone doesn't convince you to go, the property features certainly will…impeccable service is of course top notch, but garnering the most attention lately is the 11,000-square-foot Spa & Salon. The intimate sanctuary begs no forgiveness in boasting creative treatments "to reflect the local Southern Florida flavor." Though understated elegance has never been a Palm Beach characteristic, this resort property certainly is." Haute Living Magazine, May 2009

Thursday Afternoon Breakout Session

1:30 p.m.–3:30 p.m.

As a departure from the management sessions FAIA has offered, we will present a breakout session for continuing education credits. This two-hour session will debut at Planning Session and is included in your Planning Session registration fee. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from one of FAIA's former instructors, Jay Williams. Jay's session will not only be informative, but fun, too, and you'll earn two hours of continuing education credits!

Dividing The Insurance Dollar with Jay Williams. As an agent, you not only sell insurance, you're also an insurance consumer. Jay Williams, president of Bankers Underwriters, Inc., and Bankers Employer Services, Inc., will slice the "insurance dollar pie" and serve it to you. And what happens when you run out of pie? Come to the class and find out. This session was approved by the DFS for two (2) hours of continuing education credits #73177 General Lines Combo.
