The FAIA Good Works Fund (FWGF)

"The mission of the FAIA Good Works Fund is to support charitable activity within the insurance industry, giving priority to insurance education including scholarship programs."

The Fund was approved by the FAIA Board of Directors in May 2009. In June 2009 at the 105th Anniversary Convention, a $500,000 check was presented from FAIA to FGWF to create the fund.

The FGWF will serve several purposes, including:

  • Endowments to community colleges that have agreed to present an insurance degree program
  • Scholarships to students in insurance degree programs
  • Recruitment of new talent into the insurance industry
  • Disaster relief and public assistance as needed

The Community Foundation of North Florida (CFNF) manages all contributions to the FAIA Good Works Fund (FGWF). In this way, FAIA members will be able to donate money for these purposes as a charitable donation with the accompanying tax benefits.

If you would like to contribute to the FAIA Good Works Fund, knowing that you are helping to further the education of future members of the American Agency System, please click here for a .pdf of the donation form.
