The road to volunteer leadership at FAIA doesn’t follow a specific path. There isn’t a beginning, and the last stop is wherever you decide. The road has many on-ramps—and sometimes detours (marriage, children, new jobs)—but stay on it long enough, and you’ll reach your destination, wherever that may be. Below are several options to help you start your journey.

• Be active in your community
• Become active in FAIA’s online Community 
• Contribute to FAIA political actions committees 
• Contribute to the Good Works Fund 
• Help Build the Bench: Support FAIA's workforce development effort
• Join the Young Agents Council 
• Join your local board 
• Participate in Florida’s Future Insurance Leaders program 
• Participate in related trade organizations
• Pursue a professional designation through FAIA 
• Stay informed by reading Agents Confidential 
• Support the association’s programs 
• Visit with FAIA staff for a day
