Smart Start 4 Kids

July 1–August 15, 2018

Every July, the FAIA Young Agents Council holds a school-supply drive to help give Florida students a smart start back to school. Supplies collected—backpacks, pencils, pens, calculators, computers, notebooks, etc.—can be dropped off at several volunteer agencies in each zone. From there, the supplies are delivered to designated non-profit organizations. To volunteer as a drop off location, or for more information, email Taylor Hendrickson.

Get Involved

To encourage participation, SmartStart4Kids also is a contest between the YAC zones, each led by a SmartStart4Kids Coordinator. Each item collected is assigned a point value, and each agency tracks its points. There are two ways to win. The zone with the most points and the agency with the most points win additional cash to donate to their school supply recipients. The contest is open to all FAIA member agencies, but only agencies with YAC members can win. Not a YAC member yet?
